My Story......
When I first moved to Arizona six years ago I wasn’t sure that I was going to like it. At first I didn’t like Arizona at all and I wanted to move back to California and go to school with all of my friends from elementary school because I was never to fond of the idea of moving to a new place. On the first day of school I was really quiet and didn’t talk to anyone because I was shy. As months passed I began to make friends and actually start to enjoy living in Arizona. In the 7th grade I moved to a prep school and I had to make friends all over again just to turn around and go back to the school with my old friends from 6th grade in 8th grade. When high school started I was going to school with all my friends and I knew pretty much everyone because the city I lived in was fairly small. Right when I was settled in we turned around and moved again to Chandler where I had to make a whole new batch of friends while still keeping my friends from my old schools. This whole moving to Arizona idea has been a big turning point in my life having to learn to express my self and make new friends and try new things for the best. Since living in Arizona I met my best friends Cassidy, Maxie, Claire, and Consuelo, although I no longer go to school with them we still make time to hang out with each other when we can. I also learned what I wanted to do when I get older. The High school I am attending is a top school in the nation and the education is better than what I was receiving schools in California or in the city before this for that matter. Overall moving to Arizona has been the biggest turning point in my life by far. I have been able to venture out and try new things and meet new people along the way.
